Description

Parainema is a variety that continues to excite us with its unique flavor profile. This lot produces a cup that is round and sweet, with notes of navel orange, plum, watermelon, and cherry blossom. Sebastian comes from a coffee growing family in the famed Santa Barbara region of Honduras. After leaving coffee for a period of time to pursue other forms of agriculture, they decided to buy land in the subregion of La Peña with the intention of producing specialty grade coffee. On this 2.8 hectare farm, Sebastian has planted Parainema and Gesha, and has future plans to expand the farm and build a wet mill on site.
